Some operators sell whole-day or multi-day charters; others sell two-, four-, or six-hour trips that run several times a day. FleetOS supports both. To sell by the hour, set the vessel's pricing model to "per hour" and enter an hourly rate.
Once a boat is priced per hour, the booking form changes. Instead of just a date, guests also pick a Start Time and a Duration from the durations you allow (for example 2, 3, 4, 6 and 8 hours). The form multiplies your hourly rate by the chosen duration to show an instant estimate.
Start times come from your operating window. The form generates slots between your operating start and end hours at a set interval, so a 7 AM–7 PM day with 30-minute intervals gives guests a clean list of bookable start times. Slots that overlap an existing booking or hold are automatically hidden, so a guest can never request a time you've already given away.
If a date is fully booked, the form tells the guest and asks them to pick another day. This availability check happens live as they choose a date, which cuts down on back-and-forth.
A good starting point: enable your two or three most popular durations, set realistic operating hours, and let the system handle the slot math. You can always add or remove durations as you learn what sells.
